Take your practice beyond the putter. A CK Greens short-game complex lets you chip, pitch, and putt on one custom green — with a chipping collar, multiple hole locations, and target zones so you can sharpen every club from 60 yards and in.
We build chipping and practice greens the same way we build our tour-style putting greens: on a precisely engineered base that takes wedge shots without scarring, holds its shape, and drains instantly after Bay Area rain. The fringe is built to grab and release like real turf, so your chip-and-run shots behave the way they should.
Layouts are fully custom. Add multiple cups at different distances, elevated target zones, bunkers, and rough collars to recreate the exact shots you face on the course. For serious players, it's the fastest way to lower your scores without leaving home.

What's the difference between a putting green and a chipping green?+
A putting green is built for putting; a chipping/practice green adds a durable landing surface, fringe, and target zones so you can also chip and pitch full wedge shots into it.
Will chipping damage the turf?+
No — we use a heavier-duty turf and base spec in landing zones specifically engineered to take repeated wedge shots.
How big does a short-game area need to be?+
It depends on the shots you want to practice. We'll walk your yard and design the largest, most useful complex your space allows.
